"Etudes" is a story of my efforts to interact with the instruments and effects I've been collecting in my room during last two years.

It raised from my old idea to record a "tiny orchestra album" which was supposed to be composed on such a frivolous instruments as ukulele, melodica, toy piano, glockenspiel, kalimba etc. The concept behind this idea is that every instrument is valuable, no matter is it a huge organ or a tiny ukulele, all of them are able to speak to our emotions and have a lot of music inside it.

However, "Etudes" is going beyond this concept, as I put my beloved tiny things in a context of more familiar sounds of analog synths, drum machines and electric guitars, but as a core of the album, the tiny orchestra always stays on a foreground.
